Matchday six of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League is set to bring an exciting weekend of football, with matches scheduled across various venues on October 12 and 13.
The action kicks off on Saturday, October 12, when Accra Lions will lock horns with Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, while Heart of Lions will face off against Vision FC at the Kpando Sports Stadium. Both games are scheduled to begin at 15:00 GMT.
Sunday’s fixtures, however, will see a slight adjustment, as the much-anticipated clash between Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko has been postponed due to Kotoko’s involvement in the Capital Cup in Washington, USA.
Sunday, October 13, will still feature several key matchups, with FC Samartex set to take on Nsoatreman FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex. Meanwhile, Young Apostles will play host to struggling Hearts of Oak at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
Bechem United will face defending champions Medeama SC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, and Aduana FC will square off against Dreams FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa.
In other Sunday fixtures, Nations FC will take on Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, and Basake Holy Stars will entertain Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium.
Fans can expect a weekend full of thrilling encounters as teams battle for valuable points.
