ACE Power Promotions (APP), in collaboration with Centre Point Mall, has promised an exciting boxing spectacle on November 16 at Atomic Junction in Accra. Titled the “Street 2 Champions Fight Night,” the event will showcase some of Ghana’s most promising boxing talents, including future world title contenders Holy ‘Jawbreaker’ Dorgbetor, Samuel Takyi, and Mohammed Aryettey, who are set to take on opponents yet to be announced.
Speaking to Times Sports, APP General Manager Isaac Amankwaah highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing its focus on uplifting young boxing talent, particularly from Ghana’s coastal areas. “Boxing has become a lifeline for many young people in these communities, and we want to use it as a tool for transformation,” he said. “The ‘Street 2 Champions’ initiative is designed to provide opportunities for these youth, steering them away from social vices and helping them find purpose through boxing.”
Amankwaah also revealed that, in addition to up-and-coming amateur boxers, the evening will feature established names such as IBF Intercontinental African Featherweight champion Holy Dorgbetor, Olympic bronze medalist Samuel Takyi, and All Africa Games gold medalist Mohammed Aryettey, who are sure to captivate the audience with their impressive boxing skills.
Centre Point Mall’s CEO, Bhagwan Asnani, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the event as part of its corporate social responsibility. “We are fully prepared for this event, and we view it as a great way to give back to society. The team is working hard to ensure that fans receive an unforgettable experience on November 16,” Asnani said.
