Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a commanding performance to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 122-106 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Antetokounmpo lit up the scoreboard with 41 points, marking his third 40-point game of the season. He also contributed eight rebounds and nine assists in an all-around display. Brook Lopez and Damian Lillard added solid support, scoring 21 and 20 points, respectively.
Despite Zach LaVine’s 27-point effort for the Bulls, Chicago couldn’t keep up. The Bulls managed to narrow the gap to 104-102 with under eight minutes remaining, but the Bucks responded with a dominant closing stretch to secure the win.
The Bucks’ resurgence continued with this result, marking their fourth win in five games after a rocky start to the season. Milwaukee now sits ninth in the Eastern Conference standings.
In Cleveland, the Cavaliers rebounded impressively from their first loss of the season with a decisive 128-100 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Ty Jerome led the charge with a team-high 29 points, sinking six of seven three-point attempts. Jerome’s second-quarter explosion, where he scored 20 points, was pivotal in the win.
“It was a superstar performance,” said Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson. “Moments like that are rare in the NBA, and it was great for Ty, the team, and the fans.” The Cavaliers remain atop the Eastern Conference standings, recovering well from their 15-game winning streak being snapped by the Boston Celtics.
Out West, the Golden State Warriors extended their dominance at home with a 120-97 win over the Atlanta Hawks. Andrew Wiggins led all scorers with 27 points, while Stephen Curry chipped in 23 as the Warriors recorded their fifth consecutive home victory, cementing their position at the top of the Western Conference.
