The Black Stars of Ghana are scheduled to depart for Luanda later today to face Angola in an important match on Friday, November 15.
The team began preparations on Monday with their first training session at Accra Sports Stadium, initially attended by eight players. On Tuesday, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed that 14 additional players had arrived, with only Ebenezer Annan yet to join the squad.
After their final training session on Tuesday evening, the Black Stars are ready for their trip. They plan to hold a practice session in Luanda on Thursday in anticipation of the match.
Notable absences include Thomas Partey, who was left out by coach Otto Addo. Additionally, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, and Joseph Paintsil have withdrawn from the squad.
Ghana will compete against Angola at Estádio 11 de Novembro, where the Palancas Negras have already secured qualification for the tournament.
Following the match, the Black Stars will return to Accra to complete their qualifiers, facing Niger on Monday at Accra Sports Stadium.
Currently, the Black Stars sit third in Group F with two points from four games, trailing Angola and Sudan. To secure qualification for the 2025 tournament in Morocco, they must win their remaining games and hope Sudan loses its matches against Niger and Angola.
