The Black Stars of Ghana are set to leave for Morocco today as they prepare for their second Group F match in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. Ghana, four-time AFCON champions, are looking to bounce back after a disappointing start to their campaign.
On Thursday the Black Stars was had a match against Angola at Baba Yara Stadium, unfortunately the Match ended 1-0 in favor of the Angolans after a Milson’s goal in the later part of the game. The team is now preparing to face Niger on Monday, September 9 in a match that will be played in Berkane, Morocco. The match will be hosted at the Stade Municipal de Berkane, and the time set for the match is 16:00 GMT.
Under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo, the Black Stars will have two days of training in Morocco to fine-tune their strategy before taking on the Menas of Niger. Currently, Ghana sits 3rd in the group with no points after their loss to Angola, making Monday’s match an important opportunity to secure their first points in the qualifying campaign.
