Cole Palmer has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for the second time, following his standout performances in recent Premier League fixtures. The 22-year-old Chelsea winger impressed with an assist in the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace and a goal during the 3-0 win over West Ham United. These displays were capped off by his brilliant showing against Brighton, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s top emerging talents.
Palmer first won the Player of the Month award in April 2024 and has now claimed two of the last three available accolades. His latest victory comes after topping an eight-man shortlist, with votes from the public on the EA SPORTS website combined with those of a panel of football experts.
Already off to a strong start in October, Palmer contributed an assist in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest, bringing his season tally to 11 goal involvements, the highest in the league. As Chelsea prepares to face Liverpool on Sunday, October 20, Palmer will be eager to add to his impressive stats and continue his excellent form.
