FC Samartex has intensified preparations for their match against Victoria United on August 18 in the CAF Champions League first preliminary round as they conducted their first training session in Cameroon on Thursday. The 18-man squad that flew to Douala earlier in the day conducted mild warm-up exercises under the supervision of four members in the technical team.
They will have a reversal match that is slated for the Accra Sports Stadium the weekend that follows the match day. It will be their first time participating in Africa after clinching the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League champions.
