The two teams were still finalizing their preparations for the competition when the match took place at the Centro Deportivo Choquenza in Bogota, Colombia.
The U-20 Women’s World Cup 2024 will begin on Saturday, August 31, and go through Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Colombia. On September 2, the Black Princesses will play their first game of the campaign against Austria. In the remaining Group E games, they will play Japan and New Zealand. Since their entry into the competition in 2010, Ghana is participating for the seventh time.
