The intriguing tale of how Ghanaian rap sensation Elom Adablah, better known by his stage name E.L., entered the Azonto music genre has been revealed. E.L. said in an interview what spurred him to start experimenting with Azonto. The music producer Nshona Muzick was essential to E.L.’s move to Azonto.
He thought back to the colourful energy coming from Osu and Nungua, where he had previously concentrated on Hip-Hop, and how Nshona Muzick had proposed a new direction for their music. E.L. said he was first exposed to the Azonto sound by Nshona Muzick.
We all started when he played the “You Go Kill Me” beat, according to E.L., who added that I started to see where the level of passion he brings from.
“For me, if you ask me who my king is, I will say Nshona Muzick,” E.L. said in response to a question concerning the “King of Azonto.” He disclosed that although Krnykman is often associated with Nshona Muzick, the latter characterises Azonto’s hip-hop side, demonstrating the producer’s adaptability.
