According to her, external shocks, rather than poor governance, were a major contributor to the nation\u2019s economic downturn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cIt is misleading to place all the blame on the government while ignoring the global challenges that have affected economies worldwide,\u201d<\/strong> she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She further highlighted the Akufo-Addo administration\u2019s efforts to mitigate the impact of these economic hardships on Ghanaians. Manu pointed to key interventions in sectors such as business, job creation, education, and healthcare, emphasizing that the government actively implemented measures to stabilize the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cDespite the challenges, the government took bold steps to protect businesses, create employment opportunities, and support critical sectors. We did not sit back and watch the economy collapse,\u201d<\/strong> she asserted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a former Parliamentary candidate for Adenta, Manu maintained that the NPP remained committed to ensuring economic resilience and long-term recovery.
