Brazilian team Botafogo FC SP has added Ghanaian midfielder Sabit Abdulai to their roster. After arriving at Ribeirão Preto on August 6, Abdulai, who has represented Ghana internationally, has been working with the team. Now that all the paperwork has been completed, coach Paulo Gomes can choose him for the next Brazilian Serie B games. In Ghana, Abdulai started his football career with Spartans FC. In 2017, he relocated to Spain and joined UD Extremadura.
Due to his outstanding accomplishments there, he was given the opportunity to play for Getafe CF in La Liga, one of the best leagues in Europe. While in Spain, he also played for Real Murcia, Ponferradina, and Lugo, honing his abilities even further. The 25-year-old midfielder has played for Ghana at several junior levels internationally. He played in friendlies for the Ghana U23 team after being a member of the U20 squad that participated in the Africa Cup of Nations. Abdulai, who is well-known for his adaptability and hard ethic, is anticipated to be a valuable member of Botafogo’s team as they look to bolster their roster and accomplish their objectives this season.
