The leaders of three political parties, Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Janet Nabla of the People’s National Party (PNP), and Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), have officially submitted their nomination forms for the upcoming December 7th elections.
These trailblazing women, known for their assertive political stances, visited the Electoral Commission (EC) office on Thursday to complete their filings. Akua Donkor presented her documents to EC Chairperson Jean Mensa, emphasizing her dedication to advocating for ordinary Ghanaians and pushing for meaningful change.
Janet Nabla expressed her appreciation to the EC for lowering filing fees for female candidates, though she also urged for the process to be digitalized to ease the burden on candidates.
Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah underscored her party’s mission to tackle poverty and restore hope for Ghanaians, emphasizing that the CPP is back with policies aimed at creating positive, long-lasting impact.
