Apostle Sylvester Agyemang of the Apostles’ Continuation Church International, Dansoman District, has urged parents especially women to come out and lead their children to the ways of the Lord. While addressing the 2024 Barrier Women’s Convention at Accra, Apostle Agyemang stressed that parental instructions that child receives have immense impacts in shaping its future behavior and spirit. He pointed out that the moral values transmitted to the children by the parents are key important aspects in molding responsible and spiritually developed individuals.
With specific encouragement aimed at the women folk, Grace Darko, the Women’s Leader further urged all women arm themselves with a Cicero and counsel their children as well as to ush bring about the much-needed peace and unity in the nation particularly considering that the country approaches election time. The theme of the convention, “Impacting Societies with Christ in Us” Matt 5:14 is a reflection of the proposed goal and objective of the women’s department in particular and the church in general, which is to communicate the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and win the souls of women.
This year’s convention was a good reminder to parents to continue being their children’s role model by training them to be spiritually healthy.
