The bail application for 20 additional Democracy Hub protesters encountered complications on the morning of Tuesday, October 8. The lawyers representing the protesters submitted a motion for bail for the following individuals:

- – Isaac AgyapongÂ
- – Shadrach AmoahÂ

However, the prosecuting State Attorneys revealed that they had filed affidavits opposing the bail. Justice Arma-Tetteh expressed frustration at the State Attorneys for their absence during the previous bail application for 13 other protesters, noting that they claimed to be unaware of the current bail motion.
The presiding judge directed the prosecution to serve the relevant documents to the lawyers representing the protesters, as they had not yet received any notification. The case has been adjourned to Wednesday, October 9, when both the remanded protesters and those on bail will have their cases heard at the Accra Circuit Court.
