England captain Harry Kane fired a stunning hat-trick as Bayern Munich secured a dominant win over Stuttgart, ending their recent three-game winless streak across all competitions.
Kane’s three-goal display, coupled with a late strike from Kingsley Coman, ensured Bayern bounced back to reclaim their spot at the top of the Bundesliga. Despite a resilient defensive display from Stuttgart, led by Alexander Nubel in goal, Bayern managed to break through in the second half.
The breakthrough came in the 57th minute when Joshua Kimmich regained possession in midfield, allowing Kane to unleash a low shot from about 30 yards out, nestling the ball into the bottom corner.
Just three minutes later, Kane struck again, demonstrating brilliant skill by flicking the ball over a defender before finishing from close range. He completed his hat-trick by tapping in a deflected Kimmich shot that fell kindly at his feet.
Kingsley Coman, coming off the bench, added a fourth for Bayern late on, cutting inside his defender before curling a precise shot into the far corner.
With this victory, Bayern Munich returned to the top of the Bundesliga, leading RB Leipzig on goal difference. Meanwhile, Stuttgart, despite their early resilience, dropped to ninth in the standings.
Bayern will next face Barcelona in a high-profile Champions League clash on Wednesday.
