Grace Omaboe, a seasoned actress from Ghana who is well-known as Maame Dokono in the entertainment world, celebrated her 80th birthday in a sumptuous and celebrity-studded manner. Despite Maame Dokono’s June 80th birthday, she celebrated her octogenarian status with a book launch called “Unforgettable Maame Dokono.”
Celebrities and prominent dignitaries flocked to rejoice with her at the elegantly styled celebration. Maame Dokono had on a beautiful blue gown, minimal makeup, and an ear-to-ear smile. She spoke with chiefs, actors, and other personalities from many industries, some of whom she had previously worked with. David Dontoh, who has played a significant role in Maame Dokono’s life and career, Koku Anyidoho, and a few members of royalty joined her to cut the cake.
Prophet Kofi Oduro, Adwoa Smart, Fred Amugi, Christine Doe Tetteh, Abeiku Santana, and Nana Ama McBrown were also present. Comedian DKB hosted the celebration. Maame Dokono, a well-known actress in Ghana with over 50 years of film and theatrical career, is a household name. Her storytelling television program “By the Fireside” has made her most famous. She was also the lead actress of the television drama series Akan Drama, which was aired in Africa, and the Obra Drama Group. She has starred in numerous films and released three albums of music. She still works as a radio talk show host and addresses the nation’s socioeconomic issues.
