The National Democratic Congress (NDC) requested a live broadcast of a meeting to discuss the conclusions and observations found in the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) for the general elections scheduled for December 7, but the Electoral Commission (EC) has turned down their request.
In a letter to the EC, the NDC insisted on live broadcasting the meeting to address the concerns raised in the provisional voter registration in order to guarantee transparency. However, in response to the NDC’s request, the EC stated that since the differences the party is bringing up are not novel, a live broadcast of the meeting is not necessary.
