Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a decisive 123-100 victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday, snapping a six-game losing streak. Lillard scored 34 points and dished out seven assists, while Antetokounmpo contributed 31 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
Lillard and Antetokounmpo dominated the third quarter, scoring 22 of the Bucks’ 31 points to secure an 88-77 lead going into the fourth. The Bucks maintained a comfortable margin, staying at least 11 points ahead for the entire final quarter. Bobby Portis also made a strong impact off the bench, scoring 19 points.
In another game, Anthony Edwards put up a game-high 33 points, with eight rebounds and six assists, to propel the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 135-119 win over the Chicago Bulls. Julius Randle contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds, helping Minnesota pour in 45 points in the fourth quarter, sending the Bulls to their fourth straight defeat.
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-105, with bench players Malaki Branham and Keldon Johnson scoring 17 points each. Eight Spurs players reached double figures, including Zach Collins, Stephon Castle, and Julian Champagnie, who each scored 14 points. Despite strong performances from Deandre Ayton and Jerami Grant, who both scored 21 points, Portland suffered their third loss in four games.
