Days after the tragic rock-blasting accident at the Buduburam road construction site, which claimed several lives and caused property damage, work has resumed with reinforced safety measures.
In response to the October 14 incident, staff have received additional safety training, and advanced monitoring systems have been installed to mitigate risks. Several workers expressed confidence in these new protocols, believing they will prevent similar incidents.
Robert Hackman, the Gomoa East NADMO Director, in an interview confirmed that while the rock blasting is complete, the enhanced safety protocols will continue to protect workers and residents.
