I have no issues with Diana Asamoah – Cecilia Marfo reveals
Gospel musician Cecilia Marfo has addressed rumors about a supposed rift with her fellow gospel artist, Diana Asamoah. In a recent interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Cecilia Marfo clarified that she has a good relationship with Diana Asamoah and there is no animosity between them. She explained, “Diana Asamoah is not my enemy. We are all under one producer, so we are cool.”
Marfo went on to reflect on the power of gospel music, emphasizing that the songs they perform are meant to inspire and open the eyes of both the artists and their listeners. “The songs we sing convert us and open our eyes to a lot of things. It shows us people who even offend us, but no one has offended me. Not even Diana Asamoah,” she said.
Cecilia Marfo also shared an encounter with gospel artist Broda Sammy, who had approached her with the idea of starting an online feud. Marfo, however, rejected the suggestion and instead encouraged Broda Sammy to collaborate with Diana Asamoah to create uplifting content through music, focusing on entertainment and praising God together.
The gospel singer reiterated her belief in love and forgiveness, stating that she holds no grudges against anyone. “Anyone who bears grudges against another person won’t go to heaven. If you don’t show love and love your neighbor as yourself, you are not a child of God,” Marfo emphasized.
