NDC communicator launches “For The Records” book on development in Anyaa Sowutuom

Mr. Seth Terkper, the former minister of finance, has released a 30-page book titled “For the Records,” which details the development initiatives carried out in Accra’s Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency while the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was in power. The book, written by Mr. Raphael Apetorgbor, the constituency’s deputy communications officer, carefully details a number of infrastructure projects, some of which the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has disregarded.

“For the Records” gives special attention to significant projects including the Awoshie-Pokuase Highway, the Sowutuom Court Complex, the Ga Central Municipal Assembly Building, multi-story school buildings, and the improvement of neighborhood markets. These initiatives are promoted as concrete proof of the NDC’s dedication to the advancement of the constituency. In the Accra suburb of Ablekuma, Mr. Terkper praised Mr. Apetorgbor for putting together a thorough report on the NDC’s accomplishments in the constituency.

He advised NDC officials and members to use the book as a tactical instrument to increase party support, stressing that it provides vital data to refute allegations that the NDC’s Green Book is rife with errors. Additionally, he urged NDC communication leaders around the country to emulate Mr. Apetorgbor, emphasizing the significance of allowing “the evidence speak for us.”

Furthermore, Mr. Terkper emphasized the value of prudent financial management, emphasizing that sustained development depends on these kinds of actions. He restated the NDC’s commitment to giving infrastructure development top priority in all of the nation’s communities.

The NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, who was there as well, emphasized the value of honesty and cohesion within the organization. He urged NDC supporters and the Ghanaian people as a whole to unite behind the party, promising to keep all the promises made in the NDC manifesto should they win back power. Mr. Apetorgbor underlined that the 30-page book’s proof, which highlights the major accomplishments of the former NDC government, contrasts sharply with the NPP’s assertions.
