The Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has unveiled of constructing a Digital Youth Hub at the University of Ghana to provide the youth with a conducive environment for desired skills acquisition success. This is a concept that aims at offering the young technology-based business people a forum through which they can come together and develop viable technology-based companies.
Mr. Amin Adam said that for the first phase of this project, it is expected to be delivered by November 2024. Speaking on labour issues, the finance minister noted that labour had continued to support and work with the government diligently.
“Looking ahead, we remain focused on building on this momentum. Let me assure you that we will stay the course and remain within the 2024 Appropriation,” he said during a press conference in Accra on Thursday August 29.
He added “Our medium-term outlook is optimistic, with projected improvements in GDP growth, inflation control, and fiscal health. The government’s dedication to social protection, structural reforms, and prudent public Finance management will continue to drive our efforts towards sustainable development”
