The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled system upgrade for customers using Clou prepayment meters, set to take place from Friday, October 25, 2024, to Sunday, November 24, 2024. This upgrade will affect customers in the following areas: Afienya, Nungua, Tema North, Tema South, Ablekuma, Bortianor, Korle-Bu, Nsawam, Ashiaman, Amasaman, Kaneshie, and Dansoman.
During the upgrade process, customers will need to input a 40-digit token to reset and upgrade their meters. The ECG has also cautioned that users may encounter issues with the ECG Power App throughout this period. Customers seeking assistance are advised to visit the nearest ECG prepayment vendor or district office, or to contact the ECG customer service center at 0302-611611 for support.
