The Ghanaian under aged prodigy, Edmund Baidoo was officially transferred to his new club RB Salzburg, the Austrian Giants. The talented midfield has signed a long term contract with the club and he is now coming from Sogndal IL Norway.
Salzburg managed to sign Baidoo for one of the biggest Transfer fees that was estimated to be around €3. million expected for the year, which have been also covered in this report backed by £3 million and €1 million respectively. 2 million in performance-based add-ons as a resulting of their dissatisfaction in buying their genes from SP. Baidoo has been impressive playing in the Norwegian First Division having scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in the 18 starts this season and 5 goals and assists in three cup games.
Coming from Ghanaian Division Two side AsanSka Football Club to sign for the Norwegen third tier sided Sogndal in March 2024, Baidoo was able to make marked impression. The young striker came through the youth ranks and secured two outstanding performances that attracted two Premier League clubs in him but he was determined to take his career to a higher level in Europe by signing for Salzburg.
