NAPO to speak at University of Memphis on educational equity

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, will visit the US to give a keynote speech on educational equity at the University of Memphis.  

The audience will hear from Dr. Prempeh, a former minister of education who oversaw the implementation of the Free SHS Program and other significant education-related projects, on the subject of “Implementing a National Policy for Educational Access and Equity.”  

During his visit, he will also engage with members of the Ghanaian community in Memphis, further strengthening connections between Ghana and its diaspora. 

In addition, he will be hosted by the Mayor of the City of Memphis in a bid to foster cultural and educational exchange. 

Dr. Prempeh will depart from Accra today 17th October and return on 20th October to continue his campaign for the upcoming elections.
