The NDC had requested an urgent meeting with the EC to discuss anomalies it had discovered in the temporary voter registration for the 2024 elections, and that is why it took place.
The provisional register was created from the field after the registration exercise, and as with any human endeavor, it is inevitably riddled with errors and discrepancies because it hasn’t been examined and examined closely, according to a letter signed by Dr. Bossman Eric Asare, the Deputy Chairman of the EC in charge of Corporate Services.
