A fire erupted at The Honeysuckle Pub and Restaurant in Labone, Accra, on Saturday, October 26, around 5 p.m., impacting sections of the popular venue. The swift actions of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) limited the blaze to the restaurant’s kitchen area, preventing further spread. Firefighters arrived quickly to control the flames, while officials from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) disconnected power on-site to ensure responder safety and prevent reignition.
Assistant Division Officer Alex King Nartey later shared updates on the GNFS official Facebook page, commending the effective collaboration between GNFS and ECG in securing the establishment.
