Oil Marketing Companies Cut Fuel Prices for Fourth Consecutive Time

Several Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have significantly reduced fuel prices at the pumps as the second pricing window for September begins. This is the fourth consecutive decrease since August.

State-owned Goil has lowered its petrol (Super XP) price from GH¢14.16 to GH¢12.99, and diesel (Diesel XP) from GH¢14.70 to GH¢14.49. These reductions are due to falling international prices for refined petroleum products and a stronger Cedi. Further price cuts from other OMCs are expected soon.
