The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has officially launched applications for the much-anticipated 21st edition of the Ghana Club 100 (GC100), set to take place on October 11, 2024. This year’s event, themed ‘Fostering Domestic Champions: Building Local Capacity,’ will highlight and rank the top 100 companies thriving across various sectors in Ghana.
The GC100 is more than just an awards ceremony; it serves as a vital platform to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of local enterprises. Yofi Grant, CEO of GIPC, noted that the initiative has been instrumental in strengthening Ghana’s corporate landscape through innovative media strategies and significant government support.
Eligibility for the Ghana Club 100 extends to limited liability companies, including those with government ownership, provided that government shares do not exceed 50% unless the company is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Mr. Grant urged businesses to seize this opportunity by applying online and reviewing the detailed submission guidelines available on the GIPC website (https://www.gipc.gov.gh/ghana-club-100-entries/). The deadline for applications has been extended to September 27, 2024.
This year’s event will continue its traditional format, beginning with exclusive executive networking sessions, followed by the awards ceremony, and culminating in lively post-event celebrations. The Ghana Club 100 remains a cornerstone of the nation’s business calendar, setting the standard for corporate excellence and leadership.
