A troubling viral video which caused a great deal of controversy on social media has prompted the Ghana Police Service to launch an investigation. The video which has gone Viral on social media shows a group of young guys harassing a female student.
The video titled “Kumaca on heat” shows a young lady strolling in front of a sizable group of pupils, most of whom are male. She is shown verbally and physically abused in the video while some people can be heard laughing as others shove and lash out at her.
The situation escalates in a subsequent scene, where an unidentified person forcefully grabs the student by the top of her dress and kicks her legs from beneath her. In response to the video’s circulation, the Ghana Police Service in a statement on social media has assured the public that those responsible will be identified and brought to justice. Investigations are currently underway to ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.
