The Parliamentary candidate of the Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency John Dumelo has not sat back when it comes to helping the people of Okponglo and surrounding communities. Dumelo coordinated the provision of BOO water tankers, which helped, distribute clean and portable water to those affected.
Community members hurriedly lined up with their buckets, bowls, and barrels to collect the precious water; they thanked the supporters for the timely assistance. This is part of initiatives implemented by Dumelo to work with and empower the grassroots as he prepares for the forthcoming general elections slated for December 7th.
The distribution was met with widespread appreciation, as many households have been struggling to secure clean water amid the drought conditions. Mr. Dumelo’s timely intervention has been well-received, especially in a period where many residents have been struggling to access water.
