Kamaldeen Sulemana ruled out of Southampton’s clash against Bournemouth

Southampton manager Russell Martin has confirmed that Kamaldeen Sulemana will be unavailable for the team’s match against AFC Bournemouth tonight due to injury. The Saints are set to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 GMT.

In his pre-match press conference, Martin provided an injury update on Sulemana, who has been out since preseason. “We have no one coming back sooner than expected… Kamaldeen is still some time away from joining us,” Martin stated.

Sulemana, who played 18 matches and contributed two goals and one assist in the Championship last season, has yet to make his Premier League debut this season following Southampton’s promotion.

The team will also be missing midfielder Will Smallbone, who is recovering from a hamstring injury. Both Sulemana and Smallbone are expected to return after the October international break.

With Southampton winless in their last five league games, they will be hoping to secure a much-needed victory against Bournemouth.
