After the structure they were working on at Asempa down in Kasoa, in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, fell, three construction workers lost their lives. When the building fell, the workmen were filling the first floor of the storey structure with concrete. When he realized that the structure was slowly collapsing, Patrick Sarfo, an on-the-job worker who survived to tell the story, claimed he was standing by the machine watching the workers when he pushed one of them closer to him and managed to jump.
