A second-year Communication Design student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Charles Sekyi Nhyira, has sadly passed away following a severe road accident in Taifa. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, September 12, 2024, while Charles was reportedly returning from celebrating his birthday.
Eyewitnesses revealed that excessive speeding played a role in the crash, which left him with life-threatening injuries. Despite being quickly rushed to the hospital for medical attention, Charles tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Charles was just about to enter his third year at KNUST before this unfortunate event took his life. The heartbreaking news has deeply affected the university community, with friends, fellow students, and staff mourning the untimely loss of a talented young student poised for a bright future.
