Kudus returns to his goal seat

Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has netted his first goal of the 2024-2025 season, getting off the mark for West Ham United in style. Kudus found the back of the net during West Ham’s 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town in the Premier League at the London Stadium, marking a significant moment in his campaign after a relatively quiet start.

The Ghanaian star was quick to react, rising high to head in a rebound off the crossbar just before halftime, giving West Ham a 2-1 advantage. To celebrate, Kudus struck his trademark “Landlord Pose,” much to the delight of the fans.

He delivers an outstanding performance against Ipswich. He was eventually substituted in the 85th minute for Luis Guilherme, with West Ham comfortably leading 4-1.

The former Ajax star has been called up for Ghana’s upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Sudan on October 10 and October 15 during the international break. Kudus will look to carry his club form into the national team as the Black Stars gear up for the crucial double-header.
