Ghana music export Kurl songs featuring in ‘Jama’ has now said publically that he had made a mistake following his contract with Kaywa’s Highly spiritual.
Looking back on his times as an up-and-coming musician of Kurl Songx admitted that there was really no cause for him to hurry and go, as he was barely starting as a musician.
Speaking in an interview with Maame Boatemaa of Adom TV, the “Jennifer Lomotey” hitmaker revealed what he learnt after he went independent. He understood the difficulties of Creating a music brand were much higher than he expected, especially after leaving the label that helped him to become famous.
Kurl Songx said “I realize now that I wasn’t patient enough. I should have taken my time. As a young artiste, I moved too quickly. Being independent isn’t as easy as it seems; you only understand the work involved when you step out on your own. It made me appreciate Kaywa (Papa) even more. It’s not easy for someone to lift you from nowhere. The least I could have done was to be grateful,”
