The government’s One Teacher – One Laptop policy program’s supplier and distributor of laptop computers to educators has declared the program’s successful conclusion. The aim of this effort was to improve research capacity among educators and digitalize education for over 300,000 teachers under the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The company announced in a statement that it has established Aftercare Centers all around the nation to offer teachers continuous customer and technical support. In addition to stakeholders, the government, the Ministry of Education, the Ghana Education Service, and regulatory bodies, the company expressed gratitude to the teacher unions—the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT)—for their roles in guaranteeing the initiative’s successful execution.
