A 60-year-old man, Stephen Okom, has been found dead in his girlfriend’s room at Akwanserem in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti Region.
According to reports from Adom News, Mr. Okom reportedly lost consciousness during an intimate moment with his girlfriend. He was immediately rushed to the Fomena Government Hospital, where medical personnel declared him dead on arrival.
The girlfriend, identified as 40-year-old Martha Nsowah, has been taken into police custody to assist with the ongoing investigation into the incident.
Relatives of the deceased, Michael Aboagye Tuffour and John Ampofo, expressed their shock at the news, stating that Mr. Okom had no serious health issues, aside from occasional complaints of leg pain. They rushed to the scene after learning of his sudden passing.
The body of Mr. Okom has been transported to the Fomena Government Hospital morgue, where it is awaiting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
