Popular Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown, recently revealed that she would marry and settle down with a single spouse if she could go back in time to her younger years probably, after the age of 35. This disclosure was revealed by McBrown in an interview with renowned media figure Bola Ray on Starr FM award-winning StarrChat show.
Even though there is a general view in this part of the world that a lady should get married early so as to have children before they reach the age of menopause, Nana Ama McBrown, the CEO of Empress Production had a different stance. She said if a woman wanted to have children at the young age, then she could do so, but she should not be forced to engage the same man in marriage. McBrown, who currently hosts Onua TV’s Onua Showtime, shared her personal experience-based wisdom, cautioning others against jumping into marriage just to fit in with cultural expectations. She underlined, reflecting on her past relationships, that it is advisable to delay marriage, particularly when one is young due to peer pressure.
He also offers guidance to men, particularly when it comes to the idea that they should wait until they are 40 or 45 years old to get married.
