Yaw Korateng was detained by the Ghana Police Service in Nsawam, Eastern Region, for possessing a BVD believed to be Election Commission (EC) property. The suspect is being held by the police and is helping with the investigation. On August 23, a press release mentioned this.
The EC has been notified of the arrest, according to the Police, and they have been invited to determine whether or not the device was theirs. The people was also thanked by the police for their help.
