The story revealed how Ghana lost approximately $1.1 million of its 2022 World Cup prize money and was lauded for its thorough research and journalistic integrity, setting it apart from the other entries reviewed by the judging panel.
Muftawu Nabila, who has been a trailblazer in the media for over a decade, has become renowned for delivering significant, headline-making stories. His dedication to accuracy and strong sources have earned him the nickname ‘FillaMan’ due to his near-perfect 99.9% success rate in breaking stories.
In 2019, he achieved second place in the prestigious AIPS Awards, followed by a third-place ranking in Africa in 2021. He was widely regarded by his peers as the top journalist in 2020 and 2021, underscoring his impact and dominance during that period.
