Nana Kwame Bediako “Ghana is the Black Star of Africa; this studio needs to be in Ghana”

Nana Kwame Bediako, better known as Cheddar and the founder of the New Force Movement, has highlighted protection and support of the content creators as the critical point of the attempt to break through the creative industry in Ghana.

Cheddar, who has his sights set on becoming Ghana’s president, presented his “12 Pillars of Economic Freedom” on Sunday, September 1st. This detailed framework captures his line of actions and intents for proactively enhancing the wellbeing of the Ghanaians.

Touching on his intentions for the creative sector, Cheddar proposed the establishment of a world-class studio to serve as the creative hub of Africa.

He stated “Ghana is the Black Star of Africa; this studio needs to be in Ghana. We need to build that studio,”

Cheddar further lamented the challenges inhibiting the current system of the creative sector. He called for a protection and safeguard of the Intellectual Property (IP) rights of content creators.
