Ohemaa Mercy, a gospel icon, has advised aspiring and young gospel ministers. She asserts that the gospel ministry is a calling from God and that gospel preachers should proceed cautiously in discerning their ministry and calling.
“You need to have a spirit of discernment to know who is in to help you and who is in to destroy you
“For me, I have had a lot of experience when it comes to people that come around and at the end they turn into enemies.
“Are you called? This is a big ministry that you need to understand why you are called. You need to understand and know where God has positioned you to move with it and not copy from other people,” she said on 3FM Sunrise on Friday, August 16.
Since its start in 2013, Ohemaa Mercy has led the worship session, and this time around, it’s taking charge for Tehillah the Bethel Experience, a spiritually uplifting event.
