The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice-Presidential candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, will begin her campaign tour of the Upper West Region on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Her visit forms part of ongoing efforts to drum up support for the NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and the party’s parliamentary candidates as the December 7 general elections approach.
During her two-day tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will visit major constituencies, including Wa Central, Lambussie, Nandom, Lawra, and Sissala. She is expected to interact with voters, addressing their concerns and sharing the NDC’s vision for the nation.
The tour will conclude on Wednesday, after which she will head to the Northern Region on Thursday to continue her campaign activities.
Last week, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang toured the North East and Savannah Regions, where she rallied voters to support John Mahama’s bid for the presidency. She underscored Mahama’s plans to tackle challenges under the current Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, improve education, create jobs, and economically empower women.
As election day draws nearer, the NDC’s running mate continues to emphasize the party’s commitment to delivering transformative policies for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
