Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen has terminated his contract with his former agent Roberto Calenda for failing grab him a move to join either Al Ahli or Chelsea in the recent opened transfer window. Both clubs were repeatedly linked with Osimhen throughout the transfer window but eventually the move never happened.
I negotiated with Napoli about Vitale before the club signed him for Al Ahli for $70 million plus 10 in bonuses. Osimhen was going to be paid €40 million per annum and he had a cheap release clause through which a return to Europe was possible. However, the Saudi club did not make any progress when Napoli insisted on an additional €5 million.
That said, Osimhen was left with no option but to scrutinize Calenda’s competence to accomplish the goal of the much-needed transfer. This Nigerian forward has not relented in getting his loans deal to Galatasaray with the help of the Turkish interpreter, George Gardi.
The deal is a straight loan until the end of the season, with a break clause in January.
