According to the latest polls by Outcomes International, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is projected to secure 52% of parliamentary seats in the upcoming General Elections, translating to about 144 seats out of 276. In contrast, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is expected to win 36% of the seats, or 99 seats.
The survey, conducted from August 15 to September 15, 2024, revealed that 52% of respondents are likely to vote for NPP candidates, while 36% favor NDC candidates. Additionally, 7% of voters indicated they would choose none of the candidates, and 5% would support other options. The study aimed to gauge potential election outcomes among Ghana’s estimated 17 million registered voters.
