Pastor Enoch Boamah “The person said he feels better. We did not ask him”

The head pastor of the Christ Embassy Airport City Youth Church, Enock Boamah, has addressed the backlash and criticisms that followed the healing of Yolo actor John Peasah, known as ‘Drogba during last Friday’s night service.

A viral video on social media showed Drogba sharing testimony of his healing during the miracle service.

In a recent video, Drogba, the popular actor from the TV series YOLO, shared a powerful testimony of receiving divine healing during a church crusade in Accra. He revealed that after four long years of struggle, he was finally able to do things he had not been able to do before, crediting the miraculous change to the event.

The testimony quickly stirred mixed reactions online, with some netizens celebrating Drogba’s healing, while others expressed skepticism and criticism on the Pastor.

Addressing these criticisms during a Sunday service on September 1, Pastor Enoch Boamah, who led the crusade, spoke out in defense of Drogba’s experience. He emphasized that Drogba’s acknowledgment of feeling better was entirely voluntary, stressing that the church had not influenced his words.

He stated, “The person said he feels better. We did not ask him; he said he feels better. We did not put that word for into his mouth, but his testimony is big than this; we will share it later. That testimony is one out of the hundreds of testimonies that happened to him that night. I have told him to calm down.

Despite the backlash, Pastor Boamah remained steadfast, acknowledging God’s work in healing Drogba. He expressed that the criticisms did not bother him, viewing the testimony as a sign of God’s elevation in both his life and ministry.
