Regarding the planned petroleum hub project led by the private sector, the Coalition of Concerned Nzema People has threatened to sue the government. This comes after the group’s appeal to stop the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation from acquiring 20,000 acres of land for the project was denied by the Office of the Presidency.
The project’s planned sod-cutting ceremony will go ahead as planned, the Presidency assures. Isaac Kojo Ndede, an executive member of the Coalition of Concerned Nzema People, responded to the situation by stating that if the government does not address their complaints, the organization will pursue legal action.
