In preparation of the presidential and vice presidential debates, the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has invited associations, government corporations, civil society organizations and the General Public to submit questions to its committee. In a statement issued on September 5, 2024, the IEA indicated that all candidates would have an opportunity to respond to enquiries regarding the country’s development sector during the debate.
All interested parties were urged to submit questions for the by September 14, 2024. The first presidential debate is slated to occur in Accra on October 22, 2024, and the second one is set to occur in Kumasi on November 19, 2024. The vice-presidential debate is scheduled for Accra, Ghana, on November 5, 2024.
