The Accra Circuit Court has discharged four additional Democracy Hub protesters after the state withdrew charges against them. During the court session on October 24, 2024, prosecutors revealed new charges had been filed against nine protesters, including Oliver Barker-Vormawor and Felicity Nelson, but excluded Cedric Bansah, Emmanuel Offei, Nana Amo Mensah Prempeh, and Thomas Yeboah.
The judge ordered the charges against the quartet to be withdrawn, leading to the release of the Protesters. This discharge brings the total number of Democracy Hub protesters freed by the court to eleven.
